Business-Marathon 2014

Meine erste Veranstaltung sollte der Business-Lauf 2014 werden. War zwar geplant, aber nachdem ich kein Team mit 8 Leuten aufstellen konnte, auch schon wieder abgeschrieben. Ein paar Tage vor dem Wettkampf sagte dann ein Kollege ab und ich bin unter falschem Namen gestartet - Eh gut, für den ersten Wettkampf, so findet die Ergebnisse - im Falle eines Scheiterns - niemand. Ich war zwar im Training, aber 5km im Renntempo bin ich noch nie gelaufen. Der Tag der Wahrheit kam und nachdem der Lauf abends angesetzt war, war der Plan, nach der Arbeit die Familie (Freundin samt den 2 Jungs) abholen und dann direkt hin. Die Idee hatten auch 5.000 andere Personen, was in einem Stau endete und in einem Parkplatz, der 5km von der Startlinie entfernt war. Ein Vorteil hatte es, ich konnte die Strecke vorher besichtigen :-D Ich war dann kurz vor Start bei meinem Team.

Dank der Aufregung des ersten Events war mein Puls bereits beim Start im oberen Grundlagen-Ausdauer Bereich.

Nichts desto trotz gings auf den 5,125km langen Rundkurs. Nach dem Start haben mich einige überholt, aber mein Ziel war es, konstant zu Laufen. Daher orientierte ich mich an der Pace (damals hab ich noch alle 100m auf die Uhr geschaut) und rannte mein Rennen. Ab der Hälfte der Distanz wendete sich das Blatt und ich konnte einige der Überholer wieder schön überholen. Ich hätte gerne hie und da ein Pläuschchen gemacht, aber die meisten waren scheinbar damit beschäftig, dass ihnen das Herz nicht durch den Hals rausspringt ;-) Mit dem Ziel vor Augen gabs dann noch einen Sprint und ich konnte mein erstes Rennen abschließen. Mein Ziel habe ich zwar nicht erreicht, aber ich war knapp daran. Aber eines war für mich klar, Rennen und Training sind schwer zu vergleichen und ich wusste, ich würde es wieder tun.
